The injection mold for aluminum alloys is burdened with particular technical problems like porosities and cracks. To avoid crack formation it is imperative that a moderation in the cooling rate is implemented along with proper mold temperature restrictions and uniform circulation of the fluid. Processes like temperature control of molds, alongside stress relieving treatments will alleviate cracks.


Besides dealig with porosity and cracking, manufacturers need to concentrate on improving the injection molding process to increase product quality. These may include developing the design of the mold, improving the handling of the materials, and increasing the level of quality control. With the adoption of these strategies, the manufacturers can address the technical problems of aluminum alloy injection molding and produce quality components that satisfy the needs of their customers.
